2019-20

Every year the Oil City First Night Committee selects a theme for the year.  This year we celibrate an event that happened 50 years ago, produced iconic music and helped define a generation [and future generations]. The music festival was held on a dairy farm in the Catskill Mountains, northwest of New York City, between August 15–18, 1969, it attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Billed as "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music", it became better known as Woodstock.
